Mince Meat Cookies

Cookie Preparation

   Mix lard, brown sugar, and eggs together.

   Add cold coffee to the mixture and combine.

   In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

   Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir well.

   Fold in the mince meat.

   Drop tablespoon-sized portions onto a baking sheet.

   Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
