Cheese Cake

A rich and creamy cheesecake with a crunchy graham cracker and walnut crust, topped with a sprinkle of crust crumbs.

Ingredients

Crust

graham cracker crumbs 1.75 cups
walnuts 0.25 cups, chopped
cinnamon 0.5 tsp
butter or margarine 0.5 cups, melted

Filling

eggs 3 pieces
cream cheese 1 lb
sugar 1 cup
vanilla extract 2 tsp
sour cream 3 cups

Instructions

Crust Preparation

Mix graham cracker crumbs, chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and melted butter (or margarine).

Save 3 Tbsp of the mixture for topping.

Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.

Filling Preparation

Beat eggs, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.

Mix in sour cream and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour the filling into the prepared crust.

Sprinkle the reserved crust crumbs on top of the filling.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 1 hour.

Let the cheesecake cool for 4-5 hours before serving.
